Yarbrough Sales Company is a family-owned business, that has been serving the community and surrounding areas since 1975. Founded by Harold Yarbrough, the company began on a small lot on AA Highway in Scott County, with the purpose of providing a full-service steel center in Southeast Missouri.

Harold had 15+ years experience in the steel industry when he began Yarbrough Sales Co. He knew his customers in the community, and knew their needs. He felt confident that a one-stop-shop would be beneficial for all the hard-working people in the area. Harold also had a vision to not only be of service locally, but to be able to provided the same service in the surrounding communities and even states.

Today, Yarbrough Sales Co. is a full-service steel supply center, with a secondary division pipe center, Cowboy Pipe and Tube Co. Both service various market segments including agriculture, fabricators, steel service centers, construction, engineering, industrial, land owners, agricultural, contractors, and individual customers.

Customers were important to Harold Yarbrough. It didn't matter if you were buying one piece of steel, or a truckload, every customer mattered to Harold. That legacy is still the same today. We value our customers and appreciate each one, and strive to provide a quality product in a timely manner. But more importantly, develop an individual relationship so as to provide the service and care our customers have grown to expect from all of us at Yarbrough Sale/Cowboy Pipe and Tube.
